Why it pays to break the rules

In 1989 the swedish Norstedts Förlag published the interesting book with the telling title “The Privilege of formulating the Problem”. The key message: the person who is able to define propagate the problem is in pole position to monopilize the discussion and to define the only viable solution.

As advantageous this knowledge could be for the individual or for companies, as dangerous it is in politics. Because in the current state of democracy, it seems as if we look only at this kind of problems, missing the more important, but complex ones.

If this trend continues, we should think about changing the rules of democrady, so that we reduce populism and can care in an adequately constructive way about the real problems.
